In high school, I did this chalk drawing of Gumby riding Pokey in this surrealist urban landscape. It is still one of my favorite things I’ve ever done and it is hanging in my family room. The plan is to paint the wood face in that similar style. And most likely leave the belly and body just as it is in that fiery orange. Suffice it to say, I will have a very hard time selling this piece when it is done.
