Finished up this custom piece for a client in Delaware. The original request was simply, “something with shiny dimes and lady bugs”. And Lady D was born…
The resin body is hand painted in shades of teal, pinks and coral with gold flakes. The wooden head is stained and painted with lady bugs clinging to the sides. Wire work dimes and flowers dance around the front of the piece, catching the light with each turn. It stands about 3 inches tall on a wooden base.
