Finally finished up this glass dome Disneyland themed piece for a client. The piece includes a miniature version of a painting I did for the clients wedding earlier this year hand painted on the figures face. Along with a tiny pair of Mickey ears, and a candy apple in his hand modeled after the ones sold in the park. In the other hand is the couple’s two favorite characters: Pooh and Ariel. Finally an intricate paper cutout of the famous Disney castle and Tinkerbell are on the inside of the glass providing the perfect background to the Main Street that is burned on the base of the dome.
Initially I had planned to do fireworks using a fiber optic lamp. But it just never came out looking quite right. Seemed too busy.
