Got back from NYC late last night and maybe had about three or four hours of sleep. Combination of Management having issues throughout the night and just having a mess in my mind.
So after getting Management all settled with his potty, breakfast, and curled up on the couch, I went straight to work. Sitting down to paint is the only way I can settle my thoughts anymore and get my brain to stop racing.
This one took about three twists and turns. It began as my usual style, turned experimentally ugly and ended up feeling complete. I think the Pollack section of MoMA rubbed off the more I look at it.
It is a 10×10 canvas titled “I’m Not Me”. I will put it in the shop by tomorrow morning 9am PST.
