@5149andahalfart

On our walk my son took notice of a fire hydrant. I explained to him what a fire hydrant is for. As we continued on our walk, he stopped to hug every fire hydrant on the way. He would give it a kiss and say, "goodbye fire hydrant". When he was first diagnosed on the spectrum last August, I'll admit I was scared shitless. My only experience with autism was through my former life as a 911 dispatcher. But as we continue to navigate this journey together, I can honestly say I am the luckiest person in the world to be this sweet, loving, beautiful boys mother.
